Undefeated by Steve Sheinkin

Reviewed By: Bahaa Khan

This was a great biographical story about the famous football player Jim Thorpe. The book touches upon the school he went to, Carlisle Indian School, and his coach Pop Warner. Jim Thorpe was Native American, and Carlisle Indian was a school to make Native Americans more "American." The story also talks about the racism and discrimination against Native Americans. The story focuses on the Carlisle Football Team in which Jim Thorpe was in, and Pop Warner was coach.

Why I Picked It Up: I picked it up because it seemed fascinating and I don't know much about football.

Why I Finished It: I finished it because I wanted to know what happened in the rest of Jim Thorpe's life.

I’d Give This Book To: I would recommend it to anyone who enjoys biographical books that still have a story to it.
