The Inquisitor's Tale by Adam Gidwitz

Reviewed By: Isabella Asenova

This is a good book at least in my opinion. It is about 3 children and their "holy" dog. The children go through a lot of challenges during their journey. At the time King Louis is in power and the children meet him. He is getting ready to go to war with them. He follows them around wherever they go because they want to save some Hebrew books from being burnt by the king. The kids save a few but not all of them.

Why I Picked It Up: I picked up this book because it was in the Rebecca Caudill list and I really like reading books that have awards.

Why I Finished It: I finished it because I wanted to find out what happened to the 3 children after their journey was over. It also seemed really good at the beginning and I wanted to see what happened in the end. In general it seemed really good.

I’d Give This Book To: I would recommend it to people who like magic and adventurous books. Also for people who like a little fantasy and fiction.
