A Court of Thorns and Roses by Sarah J. Maas

Reviewed By: A.C.
meet feyre, a regular human girl who lives in constant fear of being eaten by a faerie, as does the rest of the human population who lives outside of the wall that separates their worlds. living alongside her disabled father, scathing sister, and another sister who prefers not to get her hands dirty, Feyre must hunt to feed all four of them and she is the youngest! As she starts hunting in the dead of winter, she kills a wolf, no biggie right? except this wolf just happened to be a shape shifting, you guessed it, faerie. now as ransom and in the name of an ancient treaty Feyre must live with the best friend of the faerie she murdered. Full of hunting, beautiful art supplies, and a masked faerie lord to die for, Feyre is not hating it as much as she thought. then another ancient faerie queen kidnaps the handsome lord and Feyre must complete three impossible tasks with will most definitely kill her. literally.
Why I Picked it Up: I love sarah j maas, her books have never disappointed and a friend recommended it to me.
Why I Finished It: the plot twists....I wanted to cry they were so good and so surprising.
