The Last Song by Nicholas Sparks

Reviewed By: M.W.
The book starts off with Ronnie hating everyone, where everyone = her divorced parents. Eventually she is forced to find her way back to her dad. Over that summer, she starts to understand how great a dad he really is and she starts to care for him. She also goes through an interesting summer of love. She finds someone who gets her for who she is. In the end, it gets a bit depressing, but it does end nice.
Why I Picked it Up: I picked it up because I saw the movie.
Why I Finished It: I needed to know if it ended the same as the movie.
I’d Give this Book To: I would recommend it to anyone who would like a heartwarming story.

**Librarian Side Note** So you may or may not have seen the movie, but The Last Song, from 2010, stars Miley Cyrus. This is the movie where she met her future, but now ex, fiance, Liam Hemsworth. Apparently this reviewer loved the movie so much, she had to go out and read the book! Personally, I always think the book is better than the movie, but you never know until you read and watch!
