Fire with Fire by Jenny Han and Siobhan Vivian

Most times, I find the second book in a trilogy to be just that...second. You already know the background from the first book, and you obviously won't find out the ending in this book, so its usually just filler. But not this book...Best twist ending ever! I kinda saw it coming, but I was NOT disappointed! So this book picks up exactly where the first book left off: Lillia, Kat, and Mary have enacted but one part of their take revenge plan, and while it may not have turned out exactly as they planned, no one got hurt...too bad. As you get to know the girls better you start to feel more for them. You also start to suspect that something is not quite right with all the girls. Will they get caught? Will Lillia finally decide what she wants? Will Mary ever be able to get over the boy from her past? Will Kat be able to step up and admit who she really has feelings for? And seriously, the last 5 pages were worth it all!! I can't believe I have to wait another year for the next book, but it is so worth it!
Why I Picked it Up: I have been waiting nearly a year for this book to come out! Plus I've made so many recommendations of this book, I was waaaay at the end of the hold list to read it.
Why I Finished It: Woah! The authors had hinted at this most excellent twist at the end, but once you are in these girls lives, you have to find out what happens next!!
I’d Give this Book To: Again, anyone who has ever thought about revenge. This book doesn't condone an eye for an eye, but rather shows you how difficult it is to live with secrets and living a lie.
**Librarian Side Note** Second book in a series! We own both books, and I highly recommend you try them out, especially if you have read and enjoyed their other books.
