Room by Emma Donoghue
5-year Jack has been living in Room for his whole life with his Ma. The things in Room are all he's ever known. Every night this man named Old Nick comes by and Jack has to sleep in the wardrobe because his Ma does not want Old Nick to see Jack at all. Since Jack doesn't know anything outside of Room, he thinks that Room is the only thing in the world, which it is not. As the story unfolds, you will learn things about Ma's background and why Jack and his mother are in Room.
