Gemma is at the airport on her way to a family vacation when she slips away for a second to get a coffee. But she soon catches sight of a gorgeous guy with eyes as blue as ice and looks strangely familiar, and sees that he's looking at her too. He introduces himself as Ty and offers to pay for her drink, which she agrees since she's so caught up in his eyes. As she turns away to find a seat, Ty is drugging her drink. After talking for a short time the drug begins to take effect and Gemma doesn't know what's happening as Ty takes her away, changes her clothes, and takes the next plane to...All this happens within the first chapter, and then Gemma wakes up to find she is in a bedroom in a house that's where exactly? This story follows Gemma, who is kidnapped by Ty to a house in the middle of the Sandy Desert, which is basically the middle of nowhere, in Australia. It follows her as she thinks of how to escape from this place or if she should refuse any sort of talking, food, or drink that he offers her or if she should kill him OR...will he win her heart and she'll grow to love him.
Why I Picked it Up: I was browsing the Teen Section and the title caught my eye. When I opened it up to read the description, it didn't give me much so I knew I had to read it.
Why I Finished It: You kind of half to because there are so many plot twists throughout the book leading to the climax towards the end of the book, you need to find out how it ends.
I’d Give this Book To: Really anyone! You have to have some patience with this book because I was finding I was getting bored and the plot started to slow down and it was the same old thing chapter after chapter. But I do have to say it is worth it to stick with the book till the end. I rated it a 3 out of 5, so take a chance and get stolen into the book!
