Wish You Were Dead by Todd Strasser

Reviewed By: S.
One day an anonymous blogger, Str-S-d, who wishes two students from Soundview High would just die. The next day, Lucy(one of the students), vanishes. Madison, the last person to see her, is wracked with guilt and frightened to death. Then, another student disappears. Meanwhile, Madison is receiving notes warning her that she could be next. Could someone be granting Str-S-d's wishes?
Why I Picked it Up: I was looking for a good book to read and my eye caught this one.
Why I Finished It: It is one of the best thrillers I have ever read!
I’d Give this Book To: Anyone over the age of 13. Anyone under that age may not be able to handle the content.

**Librarian Side Note** This author was just at Westfield Middle School to give an author talk and run some writing workshops.  As the Teen Librarian at Roselle Public Library, I was invited to sit in on his talk, and I found him quite hilarious!  He has written over 100 books for young adults, and this particular book is part of a "thrillogy"!  I highly recommend this author, as he writes books for all age levels and about a myriad of different topics.  Try an author search in the Library's catalog to find out what else we have by Todd Strasser.
