Love and Other Perishable Items by Laura Buzo

Reviewed By: Y.K.
Meet 15-year-old Amelia. She is sweet and smart. Amelia, a.k.a. "the youngster", has a huge thing against feminism; especially growing up watching her mom doing more work than her father. But, this is not all Amelia has in mind. Amelia seems to have a crush on a 21-year-old coworker named Chris, but she is only a freshmen in high school! Will anything happen between Amelia and Chris? Will their friendship ever be anything more than just a work thing?
Why I Picked it Up: The reason I choose to read this book was because it had "Amelia's" name in it. So that reminded me of our Librarian Teen Coordinator.
Why I Finished It: I finished this book because I wanted to know how and why did it end that way.
I’d Give this Book To: I would recommend this book to anyone who enjoys reading romantic, mysterious, and hilarious novels.
