Scat by Carl Hiaasen

Reviewed By: N.P.
Scat is one fun and exciting book. This book is perfect if you want to lighten your read up from serious books. Scat has two main characters, Nick Waters and the illegal oil driller Jimmy Lee Bayliss. When Nick's teacher goes missing, he wants to figure out what happened to her. What happened to Nick's teacher? Follow Nick on his journey to find out what happened!
Why I Picked it Up: I am a big fan of Carl Hiaasen's books. The reason I picked up this book is because I really liked Hoot so I decided to try Scat.
Why I Finished It: I finished it because Scat is almost like a mystery so I wanted to see where Nick's teacher was and if Jimmy would get in trouble for illegal oil drilling.
I’d Give this Book To: I would recommend this to boys and girls because in this book there is both and they work together to find out what happened. This would appeal to almost everyone.
