Timeless by Alexandra Monir

Reviewed By: A.R.
Michele Windsor is an average teenage girl with a single mother and two wonderful best friends, living in sunny California. Since she was a young child, she's been seeing the same dream over and over again- her looking into a mirror and seeing herself with a handsome man holding hands and having a key on a chain, but Michele doesn't think much of it at first. Then, one day, Michele's mother gets into a car accident when Michele's in school. Suddenly, her so-called normal life makes a 180 degree turn when she moves to New York to live with her grandparents who are the Windsors of high society. Before long, Michele finds the same necklace from her dream in a box full of her mother's jewelry and a diary in her bedroom that opens up with the necklace from her dreams, and she is going back in time only to learn that the man from her dreams is real and they are deeply in love.

Why I Picked it Up: I picked this book up because the title, "Timeless" was very interesting. I was curious as to why the writer titled the book the way it was. Then, when I read the quick summary on the inside cover, I was impressed by how fresh and intriguing the plot was. Time traveling is an interesting concept, so I knew I would enjoy the book!

Why I Finished It: The moment I started reading the book, it was difficult not to turn the next page. I wanted to know what would happen next. I wanted to know every little detail and I just couldn't manage to put the book down. The book was really riveting, so it's of no avail that I finished reading it the same day I started it!

I’d Give this Book To: I would recommend it to teenage girls like myself because I think that a mixture of drama, romance, and adventure would most likely suit teenage girls' reading interests.
