Flygirl By Sherri L. Smith

Reviewed By: K.H.
I loved this book. It was amazingly thought out, and the details were fantastic. I'm so glad I picked it up. It’s about this African American girl who lived during WWII. She has light colored skin and she wants to be a pilot. If she passes herself off as white, she can be a pilot, but she doesn't want to lose her African American background. Can she do it? Read to find out!

Why I Picked it Up: I picked it up because many people were telling me it was a great book.

Why I Finished It: I finished it because I couldn't put it down!

I’d Give this Book To: I recommend this book to people who like a lot of details and have a long attention span.
